I really dont see how this has any relevance to any type of monotheistic religion, but I'll answer this question anyways. So what if Santa Clause exists, I see no repricussions of it on my religion, and as far as the religiously fanatic baptist that is the older part of my family is concerned, i see no harm in believing in Santa. No he is not a symbol of satan he was thought up by a pagan society and he is a harmless old man unless he went homocidal, in which case he could kill the world in one night.Ohh and just curious but the story says that santa gives presents to all the boys and girls in the world, what about those kids in the third world countries that go thru their lives without getting a present on xmas?David

Who cares? Who is this Santa you speak of? I'm still waiting on my presents!

Or I would even be happy with coal, know how valuable that stuff is these days?

I don't think you answered the question, David. The repercussions are not related to the actual existence of Santa Clause, but rather your belief that he does not exist.

That is, unless you do believe that he is real.
