Support the Troops, I Say

I’ve noticed that the phrase “support the troops” is synonomous with “commit more troops” … but not me or mine.

very true.
While it’s a great marketing phrase that everyone uses, it seems to mean different things to different people.
For example, to the pinko commie liberals, “Support the Troops” means advocating their well being by keeping them alive and allowing them to enjoy the freedom they are supposedly protecting. But to the neocon chickenhawk replublicans, “Support the Troops” means keeping them alive long enough to kill a few more bad guys in much the same way a Rook supports a Pawn in the game of chess.

Nice observation Chris!
From my perspective (being that of individual liberty), there is little difference between the extreme left (communism) and the extreme right (fascism). In either case, the will of the individual must surrender to the will of others
What I find most revolting is that so many within our nation don’t grasp this simple reality
